Confidential in Swindon is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a full-time, permanent role. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their books are accurate and up to date, and you’ll build trusted relationships as their main point of contact.

You’ll use your bookkeeping expertise to add value, review records for improvements, and support VAT and CIS requirements while collaborating with colleagues to enhance clients’ financial positions.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience.
• Experience using VAT and CIS is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients.
• Proactive approach to improving processes.
• Confident to communicate directly with clients.

Looking for a bookkeeping role where you're more than just a number?

We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a friendly and collaborative team in Swindon. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with a portfolio of clients, becoming a trusted part of their businesses rather than simply processing figures from behind the scenes.

You'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, use your bookkeeping expertise to make a genuine difference and work alongside an experienced team who are happy to support you and help you develop.

What we're looking for

• Previous bookkeeping experience
• Experience using Xero and QuickBooks is an advantage and knowledge of other accounting software is also useful
• Experience with VAT and CIS
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive approach and a willingness to look for ways to improve processes
• The confidence to communicate directly with clients
