Job summary

Kepak Group in Merthyr Tydfil is seeking an experienced butcher to join the Lamb and Beef Boning Departments. The role involves knife-based meat cutting, trimming, and following line specifications in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

We require knife skills and prior butchery experience, with a strong team ethic and commitment to health and safety. Training and career progression are available, with good pay rates depending on experience after knife test.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast paced food manufacturing with knife skills.
• Able to follow instructions and procedures.
• Willing to gain new skills and experience.
• Adherence to Health and Safety rules and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Follow specifications and demonstrations from Line Manager/Supervisor/QC.
• Use knives and tools in a safe manner to perform meat cutting and trimming.
• Contribute to efficient production line operation.
• Work collaboratively with team to meet daily targets.
