Job summary

Dnata Catering in Manchester is seeking a Team Manager to lead the bonded warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, security and KPI attainment. You will drive performance and manage a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating schedules, training and compliance to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires strong people leadership, operational planning and cost control, with a focus on continuous improvement, safety standards and cross-functional collaboration across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management.
• Ability to plan, organise and delegate.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer literate with good reporting skills.
• Strong communication across levels.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to drive and support change.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems.
• Experience with materials control processes.
• Airline security knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contain costs within financial guidelines and monitor practices.
• Plan and organise activities to meet targets using the team.
• Develop rosters, training plans and recruitment activity.
• Liaise with managers to achieve targets and with warehouse teams.
• Manage stock levels, usage and waste; support periodic inventories.
• Review performance daily/weekly and implement improvements.
• Recruit and develop staff; conduct regular one-to-ones and appraisals.
• Ensure training, due diligence, security and health & safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively and maintain best practice across the team.
• Prepare and action plans from daily meetings.
