Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Rotherham seeks a Bond and Compliance Manager to own all customs and excise activities, ensuring HMRC compliance while supporting bonded operations.

You will lead the bond team, drive process improvements, and act as the site subject matter expert on compliance and controls in a busy logistics environment. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with a salary of up to £45,000 and a benefits package including pension, private medical and dental, 24/7 GP

Qualifications

• Experience in customs and excise compliance and HMRC regulations.
• Experience leading bonded operations and teams.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customs and excise compliance with HMRC rules and approvals.
• Manage bonded goods processes including goods-in, stock management and dispatch.
• Lead, coach and develop the bond team to drive performance and capability.
• Ensure accurate submission of excise declarations and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOPs, compliance processes and standards.
