Job summary

Alexander Dennis is seeking a BOM Cost Controller to support New Product Development by ensuring material costs are tracked, controlled, and aligned to target.

You’ll analyze Bills of Materials, monitor cost movements, and provide reporting that highlights risks, trends, and opportunities to improve cost performance across projects.

Collaborating with Procurement and Commercial teams, you will turn data into insight that underpins tendering, production cost, and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, procurement or engineering environments.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Ability to influence stakeholders to drive cost control.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Bills of Materials to track costs.
• Monitor cost movements and provide reporting on risks and opportunities.
• Support tendering, cost of production and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Commercial teams to turn data into insight.
