Job summary

Alexander Dennis is seeking a BOM Cost Controller to support New Product Development by tracking material costs, analysing Bills of Materials, and delivering cost reporting. You will work closely with Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure costs stay aligned with targets and drive value across projects.

Candidates should bring strong data analytics, experience with ERP systems, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, procurement or engineering environments.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel to turn data into insight.

Responsibilities

• Analyse Bills of Materials and monitor cost movements.
• Provide cost insight that underpins tendering, cost of production and business decisions.
• Produce reporting highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities to improve cost performance across projects.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Commercial teams to align costs with targets.
