Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Bills of Materials (BOM) & Item Master Controller to own product data, BOM structures, and engineering change processes. You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and streamline MRP planning.

Strong Excel, ERP experience (Microsoft Business Central) and 3 years in manufacturing are essential. The role focuses on maintaining accurate BOMs, managing revisions and effectivity dates, and driving

Qualifications

3 years' experience in manufacturing, planning, engineering, or master data management.
Awareness of electrical components is ideal but not essential.
Strong understanding of BOM structures and MRP principles.
Good ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Business Central.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within discrete manufacturing, assembly, or engineered products environments.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of critical product data, BOM structures, and engineering change control processes.
Create and maintain accurate multi-level BOM structures.
Manage BOM revisions, effectivity dates, and engineering change implementation.
Support MRP planning activities and resolving data-related planning exceptions.
Drive master data standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as the key link between Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teams.
