Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in Hull, UK is seeking a BOM Administrator to create and maintain accurate bills of materials for manufacturing and after-sales within project and production timescales.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, well organised and able to work under pressure with strong attention to detail, supporting the Product Engineer and BOM Team Leader to ensure data integrity and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• ONC/HNC level education preferable.
• Data Management training would be an advantage.
• Familiar with BOM and database tools techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engineering BOMs for each model.
• Identify safety critical and Type Approval components on databases/BOMs.
• Assist in measuring project progress with KPI and data.
• Link/update parts for After-sales and IDOL databases with latest data/images.
• Support project team to resolve process and delivery issues.
• Adopt best practice tools/techniques for project information work.
