Job summary

Just Dynamic Recruitment in Bury is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Technician for a temp to perm role. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (42 hours). Pay ranges from £13.17 to £15.91 per hour, with higher rates for relevant bodyshop or vehicle repair experience.

You will restore vehicles to a high standard, carry out cosmetic and body repairs in a fast-paced workshop, and prepare vehicles for customer collection and resale. Permanent opportunity after a 12-week temporary period.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a bodyshop, SMART repair or vehicle refurbishment environment.
• Good knowledge of automotive repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work in a busy workshop environment and meet deadlines.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out minor bodywork repairs on cars and light vehicles
• Repairing scratches, dents, scuffs and paint damage
• Alloy wheel refurbishment and touch-up work
• Preparing panels and vehicles for painting
• Completing vehicle cosmetic repairs to a high standard
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and within agreed timescales
• Supporting workshop improvements and maintaining a clean, safe working area
• Conducting quality checks before vehicles leave the workshop
