Job summary

Hartwell PLC in Scunthorpe is seeking a fully skilled Bodyshop Vehicle Painter with at least 3 years’ experience in a busy bodyshop. You will join a forward‑thinking franchise dealer group offering an exciting career path and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a busy bodyshop.
• Fully skilled Bodyshop Painter.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle body refinishing in an efficient, skilled manner.
• Prepare vehicles to be resprayed and mix paint for accurate colour matching.
• Plan work to meet promised timelines and customer requirements.
• Use correct repair methods in line with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Refinish the vehicle right first time to eliminate wastage.
• Quality control own work before the vehicle goes to QC.
• Aim for high efficiency and productivity.

Salary: £50000 OTE

We now have an opportunity for a Bodyshop Vehicle Painter to join our team in Scunthorpe.

Key responsibilities of the Bodyshop Vehicle Painter:

• To carry out vehicle body refinishing in an efficient, skilful manner.
• Prepare vehicles to be resprayed, Mix paint to ensure correct colour matching.
• Plan work to ensure vehicles are ready when promised, in line with customer requirements.
• Use correct repair methods in line with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Refinish the vehicle right first time to eliminate wastage.
• Quality control own work for any defects prior to the vehicle going to be QC checked.
• Work over 100% efficiency.
