Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Paint Technician at Mercedes-Benz Norwich. You will prepare and prime bodywork, mix and colour-match paints, and maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service across the site.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and experience in motor industry paint work. You will work independently and as part of a team, with opportunities for development within a large automotive group.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in a similar paint/bodyshop role preferred.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do day to day

• Preparing and priming bodywork to manufacturers' specifications
• Mixing and colour-matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard, and polishing as appropriate
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge
• Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential
