Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Cannock is seeking an Experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead a busy accident repair centre. You will drive day-to-day operations, ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, and develop your team to meet performance targets.

This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive £50,000 salary (dependent on experience), a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 pattern, and ongoing training within a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an accident repair centre or bodyshop team.
• Strong knowledge of accident repair processes and insurance repair procedures.
• Proven ability to manage workshop performance, productivity, quality standards and KPI delivery.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operation of the bodyshop for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Motivate and develop Workshop Controllers, Vehicle Damage Assessors, Technicians and support staff.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and repair quality to meet targets.
• Build relationships with customers, insurers, manufacturers and suppliers while delivering excellent service.
• Ensure repairs follow manufacturer repair methods and company procedures.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and a safe working environment.
• Oversee workflow planning, resource allocation and throughput to optimise performance.
• Drive continuous improvement while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
