Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of a high-volume accident repair workshop.
  • Drive productivity, efficiency and quality standards.
  • Support Workshop Controller and departmental supervisors.
  • Oversee workflow through all repair stages to ensure smooth progression.
  • Maintain high standards to reduce rework and claims.
  • Conduct production meetings and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Motivate, develop and manage workshop staff performance.
  • Collaborate with estimating, parts and quality control departments.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and fulfil customer commitments.
  • Foster teamwork, accountability and ongoing enhancement.

Duties of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Lead the daily operations of a high-volume accident repair workshop

Requirements of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Previous management experience within a busy bodyshop or accident repair environment
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to improve workshop efficiency and productivity
  • Good understanding of modern vehicle repair methods and processes
  • Ability to make confident decisions and solve problems under pressure
  • Passion for delivering high-quality repairs and outstanding customer service
  • ATA accreditation or experience in a manufacturer-approved repair centre is advantageous but not essential
