OC Motor Repairs Ltd in the UK is seeking a proactive Bodyshop Manager / Accident Repair Centre Manager to lead a busy operation. You will oversee daily delivery, support the team, and drive high standards in repairs, service and performance.

The role involves coordinating with suppliers, customers and senior management to monitor profitability, targets and information while resolving issues and complaints.

Qualifications

• Previous bodyshop supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with BSI.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful business relationships.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Clear communication skills face to face, by telephone and in writing.
• Strategic planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Computer literacy with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to produce reports to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Centre Efficiency: Oversee the efficient running of the accident repair centre.
• Commercial Performance: Support and sustain company profitability.
• Supplier Relationships: Maintain effective supplier relationships and negotiate confidently.
• Workshop Standards: Manage workshop discipline and maintain professional standards across the team.
• Work Allocation: Delegate work effectively to maintain service levels.
• Customer Service: Ensure customers receive an efficient and satisfactory service.
• HR Administration: Maintain staff records and manage HR-related matters.
• Target Monitoring: Actively monitor progress against targets.
• Management Information: Maintain daily MI figures and report issues promptly to senior management.
• Customer Resolution: Handle complex customer enquiries and complaints.
