Pybus Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead a brand new Accident Repair Centre in Portway, Bristol. The role oversees day-to-day workshop operations, workflow management, and achieving targets while maintaining high quality and customer service.

This full-time role is 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with a competitive salary of £60,000 plus bonus and an OTE up to £86,400, plus an EV company car and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Bodyshop Manager or similar leadership role in accident repair.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair procedures and bodyshop operations.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Job Title: Bodyshop Manager – Accident Repair Bodyshop

Location: Portway, Bristol, BS9

Salary: £60,000 + bonus - £86,400 OTE + EV Company Car

Full Time and Permanent

Hours: 50 hours per week including paid breaks, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead a brand new Accident Repair Centre in Portway, Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of vehicle repair processes.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop, maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, and repair efficiency. Working closely with senior management, you will oversee daily operations, manage workflow, and ensure all targets and deadlines are consistently achieved.

You will be joining a modern, fast-paced working environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction are key priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the workshop is prepared and operational at the start of each working day.
• Conduct daily team meetings to allocate workloads, communicate targets, and address operational issues.
• Monitor the correct use of equipment, tools, PPE, and uniforms.
• Liaise with senior management regarding workload, vehicle progress, and operational challenges.
• Ensure customers receive accurate updates on repair progress through the management system.
• Order parts and materials in advance to support efficient repair scheduling.
• Manage workshop capacity and vehicle throughput.
• Ensure all repair documentation and imagery are completed accurately.
• Monitor and control stock levels of consumables and materials.
• Maintain quality control throughout all stages of the repair process.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability within the workshop.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Manager, or similar leadership role within the accident repair industry.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair procedures and bodyshop operations.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent IT user with experience of bodyshop management systems.
