Job summary

Tru Talent is recruiting for a Bodyshop Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running of a busy bodyshop in Swindon. You will lead the team to deliver high‑quality repairs on time, drive customer service excellence and protect site profitability.

The role covers managing the full customer journey from booking to vehicle return, controlling resources and costs, and maintaining compliance with health and safety, PAS125 and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in performance management and staff leadership.
• Understanding of HR policies and recruitment procedures.
• Audatex experience is essential.
• Ideally experienced with modern management systems and printed estimating packages.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, confident approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial results in line with agreed budget targets.
• Manage site resources and costs to maximise capability and profitability.
• Effectively manage work provider and supplier relationships.
