Job summary

The Vella Group, a leading accident repair network in the UK, seeks a capable leader to head a modern bodyshop in Leominster. You will drive operational performance, manage repair, estimating, and production processes, and build a high-performing team.

The role offers c£50,000 plus car or allowance and performance bonus up to £70,000 OTE, with 33 days holiday and pension. This on-site role provides opportunities to lead across sites and uphold industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all repair, estimating, and production processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Lead daily production meetings and create schedules to optimise workflow
• Achieve consistent labour utilisation and productivity targets
• Identify production constraints and coordinate solutions
• Act as senior point of contact for customer complaints and resolution
• Build strong relationships with Work Providers and negotiate contracts
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair journey
• Ensure supplementary estimates are produced promptly with supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate records in management systems
• Monitor workloads to meet SLA requirements
• Ensure compliance with BSI 10125, HSE, COSHH, and EPA regulations
• Lead and motivate onsite staff, fostering high-performance culture
• Oversee training for new and existing team members
• Conduct performance reviews and develop growth plans
• Promote quality, safety, and accountability
• Stay current with repair methods and manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain housekeeping standards and equipment maintenance
• Drive continuous improvements in processes and performance
• Flexibility to undertake additional duties as required, including support at other sites
• Attend training courses to stay current with industry standards and company policies

What you'll be doing

Operational & Production Leadership
