Up to 34k plus bonus

Lookers Ashford is recruiting for an Experienced Cosmetic Repair Technician to play a vital role within our Service team. Working within a state-of-the-art bodyshop, you will be tasked with repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer’s specifications.

Location: Ashford

Working hours: Mon-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4.30pm

Headed up by our management team, Tom and Tyrone, who share a wealth of experience within Lookers. You will receive training and guidance from the best! This role suits someone with an accident/cosmetic repair background, offering a great opportunity to develop your skills within Cosmetic repair.

Responsibilities

1. Carrying out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles
2. Act as a multi-skilled Smart Repair Technician undertaking all aspects of repair as required
3. Work effectively as part of a team of skilled Bodyshop Technicians
4. Use PPE and adhere to health and safety requirements when carrying out repairs
5. Adhere to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs

Qualifications

Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role, completed a Panel technician modern apprenticeship or equivalent, and have a working knowledge of automotive systems and repair materials. A full UK driving licence is required. The role requires an honest, diligent approach and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
