Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited in Stockport is seeking an experienced PCV Body Maker to join our Stockport Depot team. You will contribute to maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of vehicles, ensuring buses operate safely for daily travel across healthcare, work, shopping and leisure.

We offer training, a supportive team, and opportunities to develop your technical skills as Stagecoach invests in electric and hybrid vehicles.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with vehicular focus such as bus, HGV/LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant or rail; if it moves, experience is good.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a modern and varied fleet to keep customers traveling safely and comfortably.
• Be part of a depot team at Stockport Depot, with potential field work and opportunities to work on future hybrid/electric vehicles.

PCV Body Maker - Stockport Depot

We are looking for an experienced Body Makerto join our Stockport Depotteam.

• Typical annualised earnings of £40,000+remuneration based on combination of hourly rate, allowances, typical hours and overtime
• Guaranteed 38minimum hours with overtime available

You’ll be joining a small team ofengineers at Stockport Depot who maintains and repairs a modern and varied fleet of vehicles so our fantastic customers can travel safely and comfortably every day to healthcare and employment, to shopping and leisure, and to see friends and family.
