Job summary

Stagecoach Group is seeking an experienced PCV Body Maker to join the Stockport Depot team. You will be responsible for body making, maintenance and repair of a modern fleet to keep passengers safe and comfortable.

The role offers a guaranteed 38 hours with overtime, a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to grow into advanced technician roles as the fleet evolves into hybrid and electric vehicles.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with vehicular focus required.
• Experience on buses/HGVs or related vehicles is desirable.
• Commitment to high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a varied fleet of vehicles to ensure safe travel.
• Be part of a small team at Stockport Depot, supporting day-to-day operations.
• Participate in training to work on future hybrid and electric vehicles.
