Job summary

Eton College is seeking a Dame's Assistant (Live Out) to support pastoral care and the daily running of the boarding house. The role includes supervising housekeeping, supporting meals, and providing first-line medical care when needed, while deputising for the Dame during absences.

The post requires flexibility to cover early mornings, evenings and weekends, with responsibilities in safeguarding and administration, reporting to the Dame and Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or pastoral roles desirable.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Ability to manage housekeeping duties and liaise with maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of pastoral care to pupils.
• Administer medicines per school policies.
• Supervise laundry and cleaning of rooms and areas.
• Assist with meals and health centre liaison.
