Lexington Catering is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Boarding Chef to join our team and provide high-quality, nutritious and varied meals for our boarding pupils.

This role is term-time only, 40 hours per week, with a 35-week pattern including weekends, and a salary of 23,907.00. Candidates should have professional catering or chef experience, a passion for children's meals, and strong food hygiene knowledge.

• Has previous professional catering or chef experience.
• Takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality food.
• Has a passion for creating enjoyable meals for children and young people.
• Understands food hygiene and allergen requirements.
• Is organised, reliable and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Has a positive and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh, nutritious and appealing meals for boarding pupils.
• Planning menus to provide a balanced and varied diet.
• Catering for different dietary requirements and allergies.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive catering team.
