Job summary

Sytner Worcester is seeking a proactive Retail Manager to oversee the Finance & Insurance functions and lead a growing sales team. You will be at the heart of customer inquiries, guiding them through obligations with integrity and a focus on fairness.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to inspire colleagues to raise the bar and excel in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend patterns may be required to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sales or service team in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and drive performance through coaching and data.
• Experience in finance and/add-on product sales is a plus.

About the role

Sytner Worcester is currently recruiting for a Retail Manager to join their growing team.

As a Sytner Retail Manager, you will be responsible for helping manage and grow all aspects of the Finance & Insurance department; you will do this by being at the core of all sales enquiries and by developing the sales team. You will ensure that every customer has a clear understanding of obligations that they have entered into, doing so with integrity and above all, treating customers fairly.

Sytner Retail Managers work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About you

If you are a high achieving Sales Executive, Sales Controller or Business Manager with sound financial and commercial understanding, we would love to hear from you.

Ideally, you will have an outstanding work ethic and be able to lead from the front and inspire your colleagues to 'raise the bar' and exceed their full potential whilst driving the finance and add-on performance forward.

Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with experience of working as part of a team with shared objectives and personal performance goals.
