Job summary

Sytner BMW Nottingham is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting tasks across sales and purchase ledgers, daily cash postings and bank reconciliations, helping the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc duties.

The role offers a flexible pattern Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work to maintain service levels, and requires a good working knowledge of accounting routines and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock checks and month-end reconciliations.
• Familiarity with CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system is advantageous.
• Able to work to strict deadlines in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts functions from sales and purchase ledgers to daily cash postings and bank reconciliations.
• Assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc duties.
• Work flexible patterns including weekends when required.
