Job summary

BMSI in Scotland is seeking an experienced Building Management Systems (BMS) Support Engineer to service client sites across the region, with Bellshill within easy travelling distance.

You will fault find, diagnose faults, carry out planned maintenance and small repairs, produce clear service reports, and build strong customer relationships. A full UK driving licence and willingness to join an on‑call rota are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) industry.
• Comfortable working independently in a customer-facing environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota for emergency and out-of-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on Building Management Systems in line with customer service agreements.
• Diagnose faults and identify effective solutions to maintain system performance.
• Undertake small repairs and remedial works.
• Carry out routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency.
• Respond to service and breakdown calls when required.
• Produce clear and accurate service reports, documenting maintenance activities, repairs and customer interactions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive working relationships with clients.
