Job summary
BMSI, a leading Building Management Systems provider, seeks an experienced BMS Support Engineer to cover the Midlands. You will maintain and diagnose building control systems, carry out repairs, and inspect equipment to ensure reliability for clients.
Ideal candidates will be familiar with Trend and Schneider, have building controls experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and excellent communication to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
Qualifications
- Experience in the building controls industry and understanding of mechanical plant.
- Proven diagnostic skills and ability to resolve technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills to explain concepts to non-technical clients.
Responsibilities
- Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems per SLAs.
- Carry out small repairs and remedial works.
- Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment for optimum performance.
- Respond to customer service calls during system failures.
- Document service activities including maintenance tasks, repairs and client interactions.
