Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced BMS Shift Engineer in Kings Cross, London, on a permanent basis. You will service and maintain BMS components and equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators and software systems, on a large site.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £48,000, with overtime, training and clear progression path in a leading FM company. Shift pattern is 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, with days and nights blocks.

Qualifications

• City & Guild / BTec / NVQ Electrical qualification.
• Strong BMS/HVAC knowledge and experience.
• 1–2 years experience with BMS systems.
• Ability to read and interpret Electrical/Mechanical schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium and Distech BMSs on site.
• Provide technical assistance and support to clients regarding their BMS systems.
• Identify opportunities for improvement/remedial works to improve the performance of the BMSs for our clients.
• Prepare proposals and quoting of works as required.

BMS Shift Engineer - Kings Cross, London - Up to £48,000

Are you an experienced BMS engineer looking for a new role?

Would you like to work on a static site?

CBW has a new opportunity for an experienced BMS Shift Engineer to join a leading FM company on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the service & maintenance of BMS components and equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems. This role is based in Kings Cross on a large site. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000, overtime, further training and a route into further career progression.

Hours of work:

• 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 off
• 7:30 am to 7:30 pm - Days
• 7:30 pm to 7:30 am - Nights

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium and Distech BMS’s on site.

Requirements:

• City & Guild / BTec / NVQ Electrical.
• Extensive knowledge & experience of BMS / HVAC.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience with BMS systems
• Knowledge & experience with either Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens (not all are required as training will be provided)
• Ability to read and interpret Electrical & Mechanical schematic diagrams.
• Understanding of IT networks.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Controls training/experience.
• Experience with fault finding in electrical panels.
• Report writing skills.
