Job summary

SER-IN is seeking a skilled BMS Service Engineer to cover Bristol area, field-based and full-time. You will maintain and support building management systems across commercial sites, performing preventative maintenance, diagnostic repairs and energy-efficiency advisories.

The role requires independent work, strong communication, and adherence to health & safety standards, with a company vehicle provided as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Experience working with BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Delta).
• Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Understanding of energy management principles (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on BMS control systems.
• Supporting customers with technical issues and system optimisation.
• Advising on energy efficiency improvements.
• Producing clear and accurate service reports.
• Identifying system upgrades and feeding back potential opportunities.
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with standards.

I'm working with a growing and forward-thinking building controls specialist looking to add an experienced BMS Service Engineer to their team in the Bristol area. The Role
