Job summary

Parker Jones Group Ltd is seeking a Sales Support Engineer for our Tunbridge Wells team. You will blend technical expertise with commercial acumen to produce high-quality quotations and support BMS projects.

The role involves quoting from drawings, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and ensuring accurate tender documentation. You will contribute to project handovers and stay informed on BMS trends while maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Management Systems, controls, HVAC or Building Services.
• Experience producing quotations, tenders or estimates for technical projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate BMS estimates and quotations from drawings and tender documents.
• Produce detailed proposals covering hardware, software, labour, commissioning and installation.
• Carry out site surveys where required.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors for pricing and technical information.
• Follow up quotations and maintain relationships with customers and consultants.
• Negotiate contracts and support successful project handovers to delivery teams.
• Keep up to date with BMS technology, products and market trends.
• Maintain accurate records within CRM and company systems.
