Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is supporting an established specialist in the building management systems sector to recruit a BMS Estimator for a hybrid/working-from-home role in the UK. You will estimate BMS project works, produce quotations, and help select products and control components.

The salary range is £50,000–£55,000 with superb benefits, and the role suits someone with strong knowledge of BMS and HVAC control applications and the ability to read technical documents and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have high demonstrable knowledge of BMS & HVAC Control applications.
• Good understanding of all types of HVAC Plant.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Ability to read and understand electrical control panel drawings and plant schematics.

Responsibilities

• Estimating BMS project works using approved estimating tool.
• Producing BMS points lists.
• Selecting BMS Products and field control items.
• Costing the manufacture of control panels.
• Estimating the cost associated with the electrical installation works.
• Producing and sending quotation documents to meet enquiry deadlines.
