Job summary

VIGO Recruitment in London is seeking a BMS Project Manager / Project Engineer to deliver major BMS projects across London, typically around £1m and with larger schemes past £4.5m. You will manage programmes, coordinate engineers, subcontractors and clients, and balance on-site presence with remote or home working where possible.

The role offers hybrid working, diary autonomy, and a clear path to bigger, commercially focused projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering BMS projects in a major projects context.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to coordinate engineers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Experience managing programmes, budgets and commercial aspects.

Responsibilities

• Managing major BMS projects from mobilisation through to handover.
• Own project programmes and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate BMS engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Work with M&E contractors and clients to ensure alignment.
• Lead project meetings and client communications.
• Identify and resolve technical and delivery issues.
• Manage procurement, variations and commercial performance.
• Protect project margins and ensure profitability.
• Monitor progress against programme and budget.
• Ensure safe, quality delivery and proper handover.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
