Job summary

HR GO Recruitment seeks a Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to join our technical team responsible for operation, maintenance and development of facility control systems.

The successful candidate will configure, commission and fault-find on Trend and Tridium systems, support multiple sites and collaborate with HVAC and electrical teams. A driving licence and willingness to travel between sites are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Building Management Systems.
• Configuring and programming Trend and Tridium BMS platforms.
• Strong fault-finding skills for controllers, I/O, networks and field devices.
• Understanding of HVAC plant, sensors, actuators, valves, pumps and control loops.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and commissioning/test reports.
• Full UK/EU driving licence or ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission BMS controllers, field devices and networks.
• Program, modify and troubleshoot Trend and Tridium (Niagara) systems to meet building operational requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and corrective repairs on BMS hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance, tune control strategies and implement energy-saving measures.
• Produce clear technical documentation, wiring diagrams, site reports and commissioning records.
• Provide on-site and remote support to building services and facilities teams, including planned works and emergency response.
• Collaborate with HVAC, electrical and maintenance teams during upgrades, refurbishments and new builds.
