Job summary
Office Owls Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced BEMS/BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a nationwide facilities and building maintenance business. You will commission, test and fault-find BEMS/BMS systems across commercial and industrial projects.
The role offers £55,000-£60,000 salary plus a company vehicle or allowance, overtime and benefits; travel and 24/7 support. A full UK driving licence is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' BMS commissioning experience.
- Strong HVAC and controls knowledge.
- Experience with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and/or Cylon.
- Good understanding of BMS networking and communications.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Commission and test BEMS/BMS systems from installation through to handover.
- Carry out point-to-point, I/O and functional testing.
- Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, pumps and VAV systems.
- Configure and fault-find BMS controllers and field devices.
- Work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms.
- Work with BACnet, Modbus and other BMS communication protocols.
- Review drawings, points lists and control strategies.
- Complete commissioning documentation and client handovers.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
