Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is currently representing a leading UK BMS specialist seeking an experienced BMS Engineer for the Midlands region. You will travel between sites delivering service inspections and proactive maintenance.

In this role you will diagnose issues, carry out minor repairs, and support fault finding on BMS equipment with a focus on customer service and reliability. A line of sight to career progression and ongoing training is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BMS engineer in commercial/industrial settings.
• Familiar with Trend IQ Vision and other major BMS platforms.
• Strong HVAC plant knowledge.
• Electrical skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of Modbus, BACnet and KNX protocols.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Travel as a mobile engineer to sites in the Midlands.
• Carry out routine inspections of BMS equipment.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out small repairs and remedial works.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on BMS systems.

BMS Engineer

Alecto Recruitment is currently working with a UK leading and established UK wide building management systems (BMS) specialist.

Due to their continued growth with commercial and industrial clients, they are looking to hire an experienced BMS Engineer for the midlands region.

Salary & Benefits:

• £50,000 - £55,000
• Car OR Car Allowance
• 3% field commission on upgrades / remedials
• Overtime
• 6% Contributory pension

The Role:

• Working as a mobile engineer and travelling to various sites within the Midlands
• Providing routine inspections of BMS equipment
• Respond to customer service call outs
• Carry out small repairs and remedial works
• Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building management systems.

Requirements:

• We are seeking an experienced building management systems (BMS) engineer
• You will be familiar with BMS systems such as: Trend IQ Vision, Schneider, Tridium, Honeywell, Schneider etc
• Good experience of HVAC Plant
• Electrical skills would be an advantage but is not essential
• Good knowledge of communication protocols such as: Modbus, BACnet, KNX etc
• Professional and excellent customer service skills.
