Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a mobile BMS Engineer in the Luton/Hertfordshire region. You will travel to client sites, perform routine inspections, respond to service calls and carry out small repairs and diagnostics on building management systems.

The role requires experience with BMS platforms such as Trend IQ Vision, Schneider, Tridium and Honeywell, plus familiarity with HVAC plant and standard protocols like Modbus, BACnet and KNX.

Qualifications

• Experienced building management systems (BMS) engineer.
• Familiar with Modbus, BACnet and KNX communication protocols.
• Good experience of HVAC plant and controls.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites within the Luton/Hertfordshire region as a mobile engineer.
• Perform routine inspections of BMS equipment.
• Respond to customer service call-outs and diagnose issues.
• Carry out small repairs and remedial works.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on BMS.

Alecto Recruitment is currently working with a UK leading and established UK wide building management systems (BMS) specialist.

Due to their continued growth with commercial and industrial clients, they are looking to hire an experienced BMS Engineer for the Luton / Hertfordshire region.

Salary & Benefits:

• £50,000 - £55,000
• Car OR Car Allowance
• 3% field commission on upgrades / remedials

The Role:

• Working as a mobile engineer and travelling to various sites within the Luton / Hertfordshire region
• Providing routine inspections of BMS equipment
• Respond to customer service call outs
• Carry out small repairs and remedial works
• Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building management systems.

Requirements:

• We are seeking an experienced building management systems (BMS) engineer
• You will be familiar with BMS systems such as: Trend IQ Vision, Schneider, Tridium, Honeywell, Schneider etc
• Good experience of HVAC Plant
• Electrical skills would be an advantage but is not essential
• Good knowledge of communication protocols such as: Modbus, BACnet, KNX etc
• Professional and excellent customer service skills.
