Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a skilled BMS Design Engineer to support a major live project in the City of London. The role covers design through to delivery, with potential progression to Project Engineer.

You will work on BMS/EMS designs, control strategies, documentation, and integration across disciplines, while FAT/SAT and commissioning activities are performed and ownership gradually increases.

Qualifications

• Experience in BMS/BEMS design, project engineering or commissioning.
• Strong understanding of BMS controls and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop BMS/EMS designs and technical documentation
• Create points schedules, DBOs and control strategies
• Design and specify control panels, valves, actuators and field devices
• Develop BMS/EMS networks and system architecture
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and other project disciplines
• Support BMS software, graphics and systems integration
• Assist with FAT, SAT, testing and commissioning activities
• Provide technical support throughout installation and project delivery
• Produce and maintain as-built documentation and O&M information
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams
• Support projects through commissioning, handover and completion
• Progress towards taking ownership of BMS projects as a Project Engineer
