Job summary

Pertemps Tm is seeking a BMS Design Engineer in Central London to join our engineering team. The role focuses on producing BMS documentation, design drawings and system specifications for commercial projects with exposure to Trend, Niagara, BACnet, LonWorks and Distech platforms.

You will develop architecture and networking-led designs, support MSI and IoT integrations, liaise with managers and clients, and contribute from design through to delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience producing BMS drawings, schematics and documentation.
• A solid understanding of HVAC controls and BMS concepts.
• Knowledge of smart building integration is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration within project teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce BMS design documentation, drawings, specifications and points schedules.
• Design BMS solutions for commercial projects.
• Support MSI, metering, IoT and HVAC optimisation system designs.

I am currently representing a specialist Building Management Systems and Smart Buildings contractor, delivering projects across BMS & HVAC optimisation and connected building technologies. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a BMS Design Engineer to join their engineering team.

Duties:

• Produce BMS design documentation, drawings, specifications and points schedules.
• Design Building Management System solutions for commercial projects.
• Support the design of MSI, metering, IoT and HVAC optimisation systems.
• Develop system architecture and networking-led designs for connected building environments.
• Assist in the integration of BMS with wider building systems and smart technologies.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants and clients throughout the design process.
• Review technical documentation, manufacturer information and system architecture.
• Support projects from design through to delivery.
