Job summary

Albireo Energy seeks a capable Service & Small Works BMS Engineer to own technically interesting systems, build client relationships, and influence service and project delivery across a Midlands-region portfolio. The role includes handling small works from concept to completion, preparing quotations, and delivering energy-efficient solutions.

The position covers travel across the Midlands (Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Leicester) and requires participation in a 24/7 on-call rota to support

Qualifications

• Strong, proven experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Excellent understanding of HVAC plant and building services systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned maintenance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Respond to complex reactive callouts and diagnose issues quickly.
• Carry out fault finding across controllers, devices, networks, and software layers.
• Commission new installations and system upgrades for seamless integration.
• Plan and deliver small works projects from start to finish with safety and quality standards.
