Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC is seeking a highly capable Service & Small Works BMS Engineer to own technically challenging projects across the Midlands. You will couple advanced service engineering with identifying, pricing, and delivering improvement works, acting as the technical face of the business on site.

The role covers the Midlands with travel to Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Leicester and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) in commercial settings.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities on complex systems.
• Ability to interpret control documentation and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned maintenance to keep systems reliable and efficient.
• Respond to complex reactive calls with advanced diagnostics.
• Carry out fault finding across controllers, networks and software layers.
• Implement software modifications and optimisation strategies.
• Commission new installations and system upgrades.
• Prepare quotations for remedial works and upgrades.
• Lead small works projects from start to finish with safety and quality
• Carry out panel modifications and system improvements as required
• Integrate systems using Modbus/BACnet open protocols
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients
• Work across multiple sites with regional team communication
• Join 24/7 on-call rota for critical environments
• Maintain accurate service documentation
