Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC is seeking a skilled Service & Small Works BMS Engineer to drive ownership of technically interesting BMS projects across the Midlands, with travel to Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Leicester, and surrounding areas. You will build client relationships, price and deliver improvements, and work autonomously with regional support.

You will manage small works from concept to completion, including recommendations, quotations, and delivering energy-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and fault finding on complex HVAC/control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and control documentation.
• Capacity to manage small works from concept to delivery and quotations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Respond to complex reactive callouts with advanced diagnostics.
• Carry out fault finding across controllers, field devices, networks, and software layers.
• Implement software modifications and upgrades to improve energy efficiency.
• Commission new installations and system upgrades and integrate with existing infrastructure.
• Prepare quotations and own small works projects from proposal to delivery.
• Maintain safety, quality, and client communication on all sites.
• Work across multiple sites and participate in 24/7 on-call rota.
