Job summary

Clear. in Newcastle is seeking an experienced BMS Controls Engineer to deliver software engineering, testing and commissioning on large data centre projects. You will configure BMS systems with HVAC and critical infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.

You will collaborate with project managers, commissioning teams and clients, perform testing and support FAT/SAT handovers throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BMS Controls Engineer, BMS Project Engineer or BMS Commissioning Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out point-to-point testing, functional testing and system validation.

The Role

• Deliver BMS software engineering, testing and commissioning on data centre projects.
• Configure and integrate BMS systems with HVAC and critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience as a BMS Controls Engineer, BMS Project Engineer or BMS Commissioning Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens, Honeywell or Johnson Controls.
• Experience within data centres or other critical environments is highly desirable.
• Understanding of HVAC controls, BACnet, Modbus and control strategies.
• Full UK driving licence.
