Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking an experienced Blow Mould Technician to join its production team in a modern manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, optimising and improving high-speed blow moulding equipment to maximise uptime and product quality.

The role requires hands-on experience in blow moulding, strong mechanical fault-finding skills, and the ability to support changeovers and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a blow moulding, plastics manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills, with electrical knowledge highly desirable.
• Experience of machine set-up, process optimisation and tooling changeovers.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and maintain production performance under pressure.
• Positive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and support the development of others.
• Overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot blow moulding machinery and associated production equipment.
• Carry out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance to maximise machine uptime and performance.
• Optimise processing parameters to ensure product quality, efficiency and material performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment overhauls and changeovers.
• Train and support colleagues in best practices relating to processing, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
