Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (North Wales) is seeking a Band 3 Medical Laboratory Assistant to support the Blood Sciences team at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. The role involves working under supervision to deliver a 24/7 diagnostic service and to report on blood, urine and other samples, ensuring patient care is at the heart of all activities.

The successful candidate will have GCSE English and Maths, be able to work in a team, and learn quickly in a busy lab environment.

Qualifications

• Support laboratory workflows under supervision of scientists.
