Job summary

Harte Recruitment is working with an established property business in Leeds to appoint a Block Manager. This role offers training and development into a fully autonomous Block Manager position, with a portfolio in residential block management across Yorkshire.

You’ll support day-to-day property matters, build relationships with landlords and stakeholders, and spend time on-site carrying out inspections. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience within residential property management, estate agency or a similar property background.
• Block Management experience welcomed but not essential.
• Organised, proactive and confident managing a varied workload.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of a residential block portfolio alongside experienced colleagues.
• Handle day-to-day queries and administrative tasks.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, leaseholders, contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and other day-to-day property matters.
• Carry out regular site inspections.
• Ensure required compliance standards are met.
• Attend occasional evening AGMs, with advance warning.
• Gradually take ownership of your own portfolio as your experience grows.

If you’re currently working in residential property or block management this Block Manager opportunity gives you the training and support to manage your own portfolio and develop a long-term career within the Block Management sector.

Previous Block Management experience is not essential. If you already have it, we'd love to hear from you too.

The Package:

• Up to £40,000 inclusive of car allowance, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
• Office and site-based role
• Occasional evening AGMs, with advance notice
• Structured training and development into a fully autonomous Block Manager position
