Job summary

Carriera Limited is assisting a boutique Birmingham-based building surveying consultancy to recruit an Associate Building Surveyor to establish and lead a new Birmingham operation. You will recruit, develop the team, win clients, and take P&L ownership, with a clear path to equity.

Expect autonomy to shape strategy, build relationships, and deliver commercial surveying instructions across the Midlands. Ideally MRICS, well-connected locally, entrepreneurial, and based in or around Birmingham,

Qualifications

• MRICS designation with strong commercial building surveying experience.
• Based in or around Birmingham with good local networks.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to turn relationships into clients.

Responsibilities

• Delivering commercial building surveying instructions.
• Developing existing and new client relationships across Birmingham and the Midlands.
• Building a local profile and network.
• Recruiting and developing a building surveying team.
• Taking P&L responsibility for the office.
• Contributing to the wider strategy and growth of the business.
