Job summary

Eco Environmental Services Ltd is hiring a Bird Control Project Manager to cover the Midlands and the South of England. The role involves overseeing projects from survey to completion, coordinating customers, contractors and internal teams, and delivering practical, safe and commercially sound solutions.

We welcome candidates with bird-control or pest-control backgrounds who are eager to learn. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential, with a base salary of £30,000 plus

• Experience in bird control or pest control or related technical environment.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Confidence dealing with customers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Commercially aware and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Bird-control experience would be advantageous, but isn’t necessarily the deciding factor.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out site surveys and identifying bird-related risks and requirements.
• Assessing buildings, structures and environments to determine appropriate solutions.
• Producing recommendations and quotations.
• Managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Coordinating customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Planning and monitoring project activity, timescales and requirements.
• Providing technical advice and managing customer expectations.
• Resolving issues and finding practical solutions.
• Building strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Identifying opportunities to develop existing and new business.
• Maintaining accurate project and customer records.
• Supporting the continued commercial growth of the business.
