Job summary

Constructive Bio Ltd. in Cambridge is seeking an experienced IT professional for a 12-month contract on a part-time basis (20hrs/week).

You will manage the company’s corporate IT infrastructure, work with a 3rd party IT services provider, and support secure deployment of scientific workloads in the cloud. Key responsibilities include cyber security, compliance (UK Cyber Essentials / GDPR / ISO 27001), lab IT support, and corporate IT operations across Mac/Windows, IAM, and device management.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Head of IT/IT Manager in scale-up tech or life sciences.
• Experience implementing UK Cyber Essentials +, ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance.
• Ability to manage external MSPs and cloud software providers.
• Technical footprint across cloud (preferably GCP), hybrid device mgmt (Jamf/Intune) and SaaS/toolchain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cyber security policies, threat monitoring and incident response plans.
• Safeguard IP, data and backups; ensure data protection.
• Lead compliance efforts for UK Cyber Essentials+, ISO 27001, GDPR.
• Own security of GCP environment for R&D workloads and tooling.
• Manage IAM, network design, authentication, logging and monitoring.
