Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery is seeking a Biosurgery Sales Specialist to grow the J&J Biosurgery portfolio across West Midlands NHS and private centres. You will lead territory planning, build key customer relationships and drive adoption of adjunctive haemostat technologies.

Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager for Biosurgery, you will collaborate with biosurgery sales, key account managers and the Commercial Excellence team to deliver the annual plan and maximize value for patients

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales success in Biosurgery or surgical environments.
• Knowledge of NHS and Private sector markets across multiple surgical areas.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Grow Biosurgery portfolio within key NHS and private centres in the West Midlands.
• Lead territory planning and sales execution to meet annual targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with Biosurgery sales team, Key Account Managers and Commercial Excellence.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech | Surgery is seeking a Biosurgery Sales Specialist for the West Midlands region, as part of the Johnson and Johnson MedTech Surgery Advanced Surgical Healing team.

Purpose of the role

This role is critical to the growth of our J&J MedTech Biosurgery (Adjunctive Haemostat) portfolio within key surgical Private and NHS centres in the West Midlands area. The successful candidate we be responsible for growing the business through flawless account planning, sales execution and collaboration with the wider Johnson and Johnson MedTech family.

What to expect:

You will have responsibility for the sales growth within key centres in the territory area. Through strong sales leadership you will ensure the annual sales business plan is met. This will be achieved specifically by:

• Building an in depth understanding of the market dynamics within the key accounts, adapting the strategy to maximise the sales opportunities within Biosurgery.
• Leading the territory through the development of comprehensive business plans. Focus on highest value opportunities to grow and develop new business including taking competitor share and the adoption of new technologies whilst maintaining key customers and core business.
• Leading and developing accounts and being responsible for the relationship between the company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to improve impact of all activities driving growth.
• Driving internal collaboration to maximise opportunities across the wider Johnson and Johnson MedTech family while developing key customer relationships and building advocacy for the J&J MedTech Surgery portfolio.
• Key to your success will be your effective stakeholder management in ensuring the right resources and support are available to effectively execute our strategies in the Biosurgery (Adjunctive Haemostat) market.

• Biosurgery sales team
• Key Account Managers
• Commercial Excellence team

Who are we looking for?

To excel in this role, you MUST have a proven track record of sales success within Biosurgery or the wider surgical environment.

You will need to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of both the NHS & Private sector markets across multidiscipline surgical areas.

Ability to work with various stakeholders both internally and externally in order to drive your plans and strategies forward.

Be an effective communicator, presenting your aims and objectives in a clear and concise manner.

Influencing and business partnering skills - understand stakeholder requirements, ability to analyse requirements and develop strategies that drives the adoption of technologies and become a trusted business advisor providing solutions.
