Job summary

Severn Trent Water is seeking a Bioresources Process Scientist to monitor and improve sludge treatment processes across multiple sites in the north-west Severn Trent region. You will support biosolids quality, perform data analysis, and work with stakeholders to implement improvements.

You will lead investigations to resolve non‑compliance, monitor asset performance, and contribute to commissioning of new plants, while sharing learnings to raise site capabilities and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc in a relevant field.
• Experience with sludge treatment or biosolids.
• Willingness to travel across the Severn Trent region.

Responsibilities

• Put health, safety and wellbeing first and ensure compliance in high‑risk environments.
• Use data and trend analysis to monitor sludge treatment health and drive safe solutions.
• Provide input into capital projects from commissioning plans to live monitoring.
