An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced HCPC registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our team in the Immunology Department of our ISO15189:2012 accredited laboratory at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. We provide diagnostic and monitoring services to patients across a wide geographical area and support our acute services at both the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole General Hospital within the Trust.

The One Dorset Pathology service will bring together Dorset County Hospital, Poole Hospital, and The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals to deliver a single, efficient, and high-quality pathology service. It will provide clinicians, patients, and carers with a consistent and high standard of service across the area and maximize resource efficiency. The new service is a formal collaboration and is part of the 'South 6' network, which includes Hampshire Hospitals, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Salisbury, and Southampton.
Qualifications: Honours degree or equivalent in a biological science acceptable by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS)/HCPC.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
